i had a pleasant stay in a long time. the entire hotel was clean, great value for money rooms. rooms with the window towards the ramblas had a quiet atmosphere. there were an electric kettle and a fridge too....

The location is perfect near the Plaza Catalunya, La Catedral and la Plaza Real.
The hotel is old and run down and in urgent need of renovation. Bathroom was small, old and dirty. The carpet was really dirty Our floor was noisy at night with college guests staying there; they also cooked in their rooms so the food smell in the corridors was very unpleasant. Overall while the location was great, the hotel is too expensive for the quality of the rooms you we got.

I loved the very nice central location, made it super easy to explore the Gothic Quarter and the beautiful park right nearby. My room had a lovely balcony where I could relax and soak in the views after a day of city strolling.

Having a kitchen and being able to eat at the times I preferred was a big plus. Grocery store across the street. Also, being in the heart of the city was wonderful.
